My target 400 kms
I'm challenging myself to walk and run 400km throughout the month and raise vital funds that will help eradicate and prepare us for a Polio free world.
As a proud member of the Rotary Club of Canberra Sundowners, I’m taking on a personal challenge to help eradicate polio which should be history by now. I’ll be walking and running over 400km around the ACT, especially around Lake Burley Griffin, to raise funds and awareness alongside my fellow Sundowners.
There’s no cure for polio, but there is a way to stop it: immunisation. Every step I take is part of Rotary’s global push to ensure no child ever suffers from this preventable disease again. If you’d like to support the cause or cheer me on, I’d be grateful.
